The Answer:
Radio Shopper is a trading name we have had for some time, and originally we first used it back in the early 90's - 1992 to be precise. However, since those days our company has developed in to a group of companies involved in technology, manufacturing, development, communications and other things like the internet and even mobile phone systems. Here are a few of the things we currently are working in:

- Specialised safety devices for on-premise deaf people and fire alarms
- Specialised systems to help stop under age gambling
- On-site communications of many kinds for customers, for staff and for safety
- Emergency and lone worker - man down systems
- Business mobile phones and contracts

- Specialised equipment like Swissphone systems
Our Answers:
While LTE PoC radios are available from some companies here at Radio Shopper we have specialised in long distance professional two way radios for many years. When buying the technology behind the PoC wireless products bear in mind that there are ongoing costs after the first year of use. But Radio Shopper is here to help!

The Lone Worker feature is often shown as a red button on the handset. Messages can be sent to the radio at intervals and the worker has to respond within a set time limit generally by pressing the button. If there is no response from the worker, then further action is needed to ensure the lone worker amployee is still safe.
Useful Answer:
There is no limit in theory to the maximum number of radio andsets you can use for a two way radio system. There is a minimum of two! (as you might guess) but the maximum is beyond anything you might consider useful. As the number of users increases on the system, it might well become unweildly and then in real terms would prove very difficult to use.
Best Answer:
The wattage IS important because it can determine the range of a two-way radio system. For example PMR446 (unlicensed) will not have the same range as a UK licensed radio simply because the licensed two-way radio system has a far higher output - 4 or 5 watts. License free are typically 1/2 watt.

Indeed you can, although our website cannot possibly show all the brands (or models) of wireless 2 way radios we sell, its just a simple call to us and we can help. We also can supply some loan equipment to test if you need to check the compatibility etc. of certain handsets. We do offer no-cost advice for customers and without any obligation so please do call us if something is not clear!

It's a question that we get asked about a lot! and as we have already intimated YES we do offer a no cost trial of two-way radio handsets so that you can check out the quality of what unit you might be looking at to ensure that it is exactly what you are looking for. Also bear in mind that we offer the same service for all paging equipment but sadly we can't offer that for mobile phone handsets and systems.
