WORLDWIDE COVERAGE

Problem

A golf club suffered from black spots and large areas with intermittent signal around the course.

Our Recommendation

We recommended that the club move from analogue radios to a PoC LTE system, working off multi-carrier SIM and using emergency buttons.

Final Solution

The club now runs a full fleet of Entel DN495 POC LTE Push-to-Talk devices, experience no black spots or signal issues, and can GPS track any radios in case of emergency or loss. A perfect solution and they love it!

The Problem

The customer needed a radio system to be able to talk over a very large site, in ATEX IS and non-ATEX areas with the ability to raise an alarm if necessary.

Recommendations

We recommended 5W 2 way radios for non-ATEX areas and suitably rated ATEX IS two-way radios for the ATEX rated areas bearing in mind the large site coverage needed and with lone worker features.

Fully Operational Solution

We recommended Entel DX485 (Digital UHF) and DT985ex (ATEX) radios with the emergency button enabled as both handsets have screens to identify which handset raised the alarm.
