Motorola XT460 Business Two Way Radio

The XT460 is part of the XT400 series from Motorola. Available in licence free PMR446 UHF frequency and designed for business from concept by Motorola. Ours includes the charger.

As an everyday two-way radio the XT460 offers most of what business needs in a wireless radio. They are robust and very tough, built it include IP55 standards for water and dust protection, and as standard are built to MIL-STD 810 C,D,E F and G which helps to make for a long lasting device that can take the knocks of two-way radios in business today.

Range on the XT400 series is an incredible 16,250 square metres, and translated to a building covers around 13 floors! Incredibly for a PMR446 walkie talkie the range can be as far as 9 kilometers in a 'line of sight' direction without blockages which will reduce the distance that communications can occur.

Included in the XT460 handsets are workgroups. All easy to use functions, and inclusive two programmable buttons that can give instant access to features that are used a lot. 

Motorola test these two way radios extensively: They have developed a simulated test that tests the unit like it was used for five years! You will find that with testing to this level that repairs and other non-use time will always be kept to a minimum with these Motorola radios.

The radio has 16 analogue channels and included are 219 privacy codes that enhance a clear signal and certainly reduce interference from other users within range.

Although this is an analogue two-way radio the audio is very good particularly for an analogue device.

Lastly, there is a channel audio announcement when changing channels that allows users to wear the radio on their belt with the included swivel clip.
