Entel DX482L UHF Two Way Radio

The DX482L from Entel is a very small and compact, lightweight and dual mode analogue and digital operation two way radio. It is created to IP68 which makes it completely waterproof and submersible to 2 metres underwater and for as long as up to 4  hours underwater! Its also a UHF device.

The whole range is developed around the new DMR digital technology but Entel went even further with this series. Entel developed audio tailoring technology that offers the best range and clarity on the market today. Analogue is also supported.

The DX482 is a UHF licensed wireless radio and as such has higher output than unlicensed radios and far less traffic on the channels. The low end models are suited to a simple PTT or push-to-talk operation and work great between small groups of users. And of course they will work for emergency use too. But the advanced models (denoted with ADV) have all the basic features of the low end models, but also include a high contrast high quality display using OLED technology for easy readability. There's a navigation button and enhanced menus that include a contact list for easy lookup communication. Other ADV features include text messaging and emergency caller identification.
