This Entel HT644 waterproof submersible two way radio handset is developed from the ground up with features that are specifically for the marine sector. Things like 10 weather channels or 58 marine channels that are configurable for different areas of the world.

Like all Entel radios the battery is a key aspect for using this radio longer than competition and is an Li-ion using Entel's intelligent technology to achieve what other radios do not. In fact you can achieve up to around 18 hours of use when fully charged and if the battery is going to expire then the system is aware of that because Entel technology checks continuously of it's use. Li-ion has no memory effect like some batteries so it will always charge fully.

As you can imagine, being a marine developed radio it is IP68 standard, and that means that it's waterproof for five metres deep and up to one hour immersed and the radio will still be fully operational.

IP68 also ensures that vibration, knocks, dust and moisture stay out of the radio and does not affect operation in any way.

The display can show signal strength, remaining battery level and much more. The keypad is a reduced key keypad that has a number of ways to change features or some settings like channel number or even those important weather channel information.
