Kenwood NX-3200/3300 Two Way Radios

The NX-3200 and NX-3300 portable two way radios are multi-protocol digital radios. As is the case with many Kenwood products this series supports NXDN and DMR (digital and multi digital) protocols and also a mixed digital and FM analogue operation. This series offer many features like the NXDN conventional and Type-C as well as Gen2 Trunking ability, DMR Tier II and site roaming ability.

There is a built in Bluetooth that's great for when you use the radio hands free, and it is controlled by Bluetooth profiles. There is an HSP - headset profile and SPP - serial port profile available optionally.

For resilience IP standards are IP54/55/67 coupled with the MIL-STD-810 C/D/E/F & G.

These particular models include high quality Kenwood audio and on these radios there is an active noise reduction circuit based on an internal digital signal processor or DSP.

Among the general features, there is an emergency call  button and a paging call feature. Text message is also possible. There is also a built in motion sensor that is used for man down, for stationary and motion detection - linked with the lone worker features it offers a good safety solution if you need it.

Handsets include 512 channels and 128 zones. Its possible to have 64 channels per 4 zones in the basic mode of operation.

These two-way radios offer a very good specification for business use with some variable features depending on the radio model.

There is a 14 pin connector that works well in harsh conditions and ensures good connectivity between the two-way radio and the accessories that can use this connector.

Overall the NX-3200/3300 series of wireless radios although more expensive than some other brands offer a lot for a fair price and Kenwood quality audio is also assured.
