Motorola DP2400e Two Way Radio

The Motorola DP2000e series includes this DP2400e model part of the MOTOTRBO series. The range of DP2000e two way radios are specifically designed for improving the safety and efficiency of users. The ETSI DMR Standards compliant digital radios from Motorola offer clear and reliable communications and with basic Trunking and analogue also offered as a legacy communications method these wireless radios can transition from older to current technology seamlessly.

Safety can never be underestimated without sometimes severe consequences but when using the DP2000e series of walkie talkie radios there is built in a rapid response capability including an instant push to talk feature. Should a user become unresponsive it is possible to remotely activate the radio to ensure that the employee is still safe.

There are privacy features too that prevent others from listening in on private conversations.

If the radio is lost or stolen it is also possible to disable the handset so it can't be used by others. And importantly there are some new models (ask for details) that are TIA4950 certified that can be used in hazardous areas where there may be flammable or explosive materials present.

Audio is always an important aspect of communication and the whole series has excellent audio quality that includes the ability to produce clear intelligible quality. 16 channels available.

Batteries also play a big role in extended use and it is possible to use the wireless radio for up to 28 hours (that's three shifts!). Also included is the battery management system  (called IMPRES) that works over the air that can help to extend the battery life. There are multi chargers available as accessories for the series.

On the handset the receivers efficiency has been improved and now boosts the overall range by up to 8%.

There are VHF and UHF versions available in the series and these walkie talkies are licensed in the UK.
